Why I built this
I use more than one MTN WiFi device — one at home, one at the office — and switching between them meant digging through USSD menus and apps that never told me what I actually wanted to know: how much data was left, and which device I was even connected to.
Mi MDev started as a tool for myself. It pulls device status, data balance and basic controls into one screen, and it's built to work across MiFi pocket routers and home routers alike.
I'm a solo developer, and this project has no connection to MTN — it just talks to the same USSD and device endpoints MTN's own tools use. If something breaks or your device isn't supported yet, let me know and I'll look at it.
