Is Mi MDev affiliated with MTN?

No. Mi MDev is an independent app built by a solo developer. It's not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by MTN.

Which devices are supported?

MF927U, M30S, and ZLT X20 today, with more MiFi and home routers being added. See the blog for support updates.

The app can't find my device. What do I check?

Make sure your phone is on the same WiFi network as the device, then run Settings → Devices → Scan now. Some routers need their web UI login enabled first. Check the label on the device.

Does Mi MDev work outside Nigeria?

It's built around MTN Nigeria's USSD codes and device set, so features like balance checks won't work on other networks.

How do I request support for a new device?

Email me the device model and, if you can, a link or photo of its web UI login page.
