Firmware update fixes a reboot loop on the MF927U

A few MF927U owners have written in about random reboots after a few hours online. The pattern was consistent enough to chase down: it only showed up on units still running firmware from before mid-2025, and it got worse the longer the device stayed connected to more than a couple of clients.

The MTN firmware update rolling out now addresses it. If you’re on an affected unit, the fix is on MTN’s side (not something Mi MDev can push), but the app will flag your current version and tell you whether an update is available next time you check your device page.

To check manually: open Mi MDev, tap your device, and look under Device info for the firmware version. Anything older than build 2.14 is worth updating.

If you update and still see reboots, let me know. I’d rather track a real pattern than guess at one.
